WHO IS MAXIMILIAN LAW?

Picture
Picture
Maximilian Law is the Founder and Director of the Ferrara Film Festival, the fastest growing film festival in Italy and one of the fastest in the World, and the CEO of the production company Perpetuus Enterprises. He’s also a director, an actor, a showman, a producer and a screenwriter. At the Oscars™ 2014 one of his films ("Tomorrow Will Be Another Day") was finalist at the Academy Awards in the "Best Live Action Short Film" category.
He produced, and often directed, more than 30 commercials all over the world, working with world famous brands like Armani, Redbull, UNICEF, and developed many marketing strategies for companies in the U.S., Europe and Latin America. With the extensive experience on film and commercial sets, he started writing screenplays for feature and short films under the WGA (Writers Guilt of America). In 2012, at the age of 31, the second film he wrote ("Engage") was selected in many film festivals around the World and then sold it to American national TV channels. The same deal was made for two more movies he produced the following year ("Tomorrow Will Be Another Day" and "The Painter"). As he kept exploring acting roles, he found himself very comfortable interpreting comedic characters, and from that moment he took himself very seriously in establishing his own brand. In 2015 he opened his new Production Company, "Perpetuus", specifically conceived to develop his own film projects.
In September 2015 he officially founded the Ferrara Film Festival, one of the fastest growing festival in the World, where he’s also the artistic director since its first edition in 2016.
